Founded in 2016, Kadensa Capital is a Hong Kong-based asset management firm that focuses on investment opportunities primarily in Pan-Asia public markets, as well as selected private situations.
Our team has over 50 years’ collective buy-side experience and comprises professionals who have come from leading organizations including Blackstone, Goldman Sachs, IDG, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley and Point72.
We invest on behalf of an array of institutional investors including sovereign wealth funds, endowments, institutional fund of funds, pensions, foundations and family offices worldwide.

Kadensa believes that environmental, social and political risks and opportunities can impact the financial performance of its investments and that factoring these into the investment process creates value and reduces risk. We also seek to incorporate ESG best practices into our business model.

Prior to founding Kadensa, Mr. Leung spent 11 years at Point72, where he was a senior portfolio manager and head of Everpoint Asia, a division of Point72.
JULIE LIM
PARTNER / HEAD OF RESEARCH
Prior to co-founding Kadensa, Ms. Lim spent 7 years at Point72. Prior to that she was part of the equity research and proprietary trading teams at Goldman Sachs.
DEREK CHUNG
PARTNER / COO
Prior to co-founding Kadensa, Mr. Chung was the Asian head of business consulting services at Morgan Stanley prime brokerage where he spent 15 years.
